I can only hope the feeble performance at Cardiff is reflected on by the squad and puts a bit of fire back in their bellies! I’m still bemused at how apathetic we were on the day, King Cooper will square it away I don’t doubt!

It's a moment of truth, RedBeard.

Apathetic.  Sluggish.  Lethargic.  It was a chance to get into the play offs no less.  To tread the golden road to the promised land.  It's almost like the players didn't take kindly to the post match Barnsley criticism.

I think it was wrong to put race horse Grabban up against Cardiff's back line.  Not a battle he was going to win.  Should have been Davis from the off.  It would have given them more to think about.  Cardiff only respect brute force and we didn't give them enough of that.  They sure did to us.  (Cook and Grabban.)

Cardiff were lucky.

Just an aside. It may have been Wassy or someone else that said, under Cooper we have to think about the WingBacks actually being the 'Wingers.' Which leaves the front man and the 3 behind as 'Forwards' perhaps. When it works in the preferred 3-4-3 you get an overload of '6' attacking players.

With the recent match vs the USA where Canada beat them(!) Lionel got a mention for his energy in 'midfield' so with the LWB position being considered a winger in effect, Lionel may be our 'hidden' left winger in plain view. There's also Silva whose play has been disruptive. He's hit the post 3 times. If those went in? He's scored as many goals as the much hyped Bowler. Silva is very direct and pacey going forwards. Either of these options buys time for Mighten and Lolley to recuperate. (Re-Cooperate?)
