The Premier League 2023/24
Newcastle losing 2-0 away to Brighton. Their start of the season has been very similar to ours though with a harder home game. They're looking like ending up with only one win from the four games - further context to how well we've started the season.

Love that we now get to look at our position in the table for 2 weeks without it changing.

Was just reading an article about Burnley trying to do the same thing in the Premier League but against much better teams and it really struck home how similar it was for us. Similarly they've signed about 17 players so similar situations. I wonder whether the same will happen like it did to us against Fulham/Bournemouth where we tried to attack them and lost for Burnley against us.

Has Kompany got the ability to do what Cooper did post Leicester and completely change style to save the team. I suppose in his favour is the fact that Sheff U/Luton/Everton look really bad and Wolves/Fulham are not looking great either, so he's probably got more capacity than we did last year to stick with it. Be an interesting experiment and one to watch when you look at our long term attempts to eventually transition to a more attacking brand of football at some point.
