I agree and that is something that you wouldn't expect from the Japanese.

True Spain's pens were shocking but how cool were Morocco's?

Poor old Remo, that was a proper hammering.

So by my reckoning that officially ends all Forest involvement in the WC including current squad, loaned out players and former players.

At least he'll have time to recover before the season restarts.

Worth noting that most of Man Utd's first team are still in the tournament (our Boxing day+1 opponent). I was thinking anyone that gets past the quarters and therefore has to be involved in the 3rd place playoff as a minimum, is surely a doubt for the 27th.

What would really be interesting is if someone actually went back to Qatar again after the World Cup has finished and to report on their findings.

My brother who worked in Qatar for two years (should have been 5 but he left) tells me that the Qatar we are currently seeing is not anything like the real Qatar and he's talking through experience.

I talked to as many people who worked there long before World Cup as possible, especially working immigrants. Many had been there for many years and were very positive  but then if you come from Nepal for instance (poorest GDP per capita in World) then its all relative I suppose.

I intend to go back with whole family (also for final if England get there ) so will be genuinely interested to see if it's the same. Certainly won't miss the Turkish security.

They may well have been the best team but I have to say I always enjoy the media hand wringing when Brazil go out. I think there is a bit of entitlement that reminds me of the scousers.

I know what you mean  but think it's our media as much as anything, but I have to say their supporters are absolutely brilliant fun and they all seem to love Forest (The Scolari being a Forest fan and Scarpo thing). They hate Argentina and love English football.

I educated plenty about everyone having Liverpool in England too.

It helps England's chances, but the competition is poorer for their elimination.

Richarlison however (though a brilliant talent)is a ****.

Apart from 20 minutes against South Korea they have been average at best. They deserve to go home.

Croatia are incredible really for a country with a population I think of about 10 million.

Not even that. Around 5 million they said on the coverage yesterday.
