Stevie Cooper
Im just angry Sniff.
The best era of my generation is coming to an end.
Hopefully Nuno takes us to the next level and we get the shopping list equivalent of Neves, Jota etc for him to play with and not Origi, Tavares etc.
He will get my full backing, a win on Saturday to take us 8 clear would be a great start…….
But I just cannot see it.
Back to the chaos of pre Cooper is my go to assumption.
23 years of shite does that to man.

Fair enough mate and thanks for replying.

I don't think you need to worry.

Get that but whats the alternative? As the saying goes ‘All good things must come to an end’. Who to say just as good or better times are not ahead? Always be thankful to Cooper for his part in the last few years and what a ride it’s been but look forward, not back.

But where are we going at the moment with one win in 13 or whatever it is?

You rather Steve take us down and get a relegation on his CV?

What is the case for Steve to stay exactly?

He unfortunately has the tag of the worst PL manager in history who has managed 50 games or more.

I repeat what is the case for him to stay, can someone give me one?

Yes he's a nice bloke, yes he got us promoted but where are we now, today, presently?

I was initially disappointed, more about Lopetegui turning us down as I think he would certainly get us out the mess we are in but Nuno has a great record bar Spurs and is probably a better fit culture wise. Obviously hoped it would work out with Cooper in EPL but we have just made too many mistakes now and it's a results business at the end of the day and he has a awful record. Luton did it for me. Thanks for the memories and for transforming the club. Ill never forget Playoff day after several I want to forget.

I see the font question EM propaganda is in full swing on here.

I’ll come back and say I told you so when we go down

If it works, I promise I’ll hold my hands up and admit I was wrong. But this feels like a cheap solution

If Cooper is sacked today then we all will say thank you for what you did......there was some great times and great memories.

Sadly, not good enough to cut it in the PL.........but there are lots of managers like that. So thanks and farewell.

As a Wolves fan has said regarding the Nuno-Forest link...

"Love Cooper absolutely. No idea why they should hate Nuno. Amusingly they think a bloke with promotion 7th, cup semi final, 7th, European quarter final is a massive downgrade on a bloke with promotion, relegation battle."

How can you say I told you so when right now it looks like we're going down with Cooper? I don't get that at all.

I get it Sniffer, doesn't mean I have to like it. I just wish it had worked for Steve, we will never see another manager so connected with the fans at the club again!

It was more that the ownership have a TERRIBLE track record in choosing owners and recruitment at this club. Cooper somehow stabilised it all despite all the madness. We’re back to the chaos. Make my words
