I dont think he did. Think all that was PR he wanted the bloke who's gone to inter or mancini, edu gets blamed for recruitment but wilson, syriannos and pereira were putting pics on socials saying the window is shut and it has been a good one etc. Not singing edu praises, but hes not to blame for how we play or set up to play. We signed all that young talent because they have been good. Our manager selections have seemed to ruin them

It’s a collective, you can’t selectively just remove one because it doesn’t fit the narrative. It’s bonkers to sign players then appoint managers that don’t fit the players. It’s literally crazy. The lack of joined up thinking is nuts.

Players take time to bed into established clubs with established systems and coaching. We just throw loads at it and hope some stick. It has worked to a certain degree but it gets found out fast. I’m watching Bournemouth who haven’t won in 10 and they are light years ahead of our play.

Didn't everyone think Dyche was a good fit for our players?
I am sure that is what was said when he was appointed. It was also said that he will sort the defence out and we will be great from set pieces and that this is the best squad he has ever had etc etc. Edu is an easy target and it's easy to put the blame on him but I think it's unfair.
Dyche - like previous managers- has been unlucky with injuries.
Aina- best fullback in the league; wood, top handful of marksmen; Yates the talisman, Sangare who was tearing it up, Luiz the marquee signing, and recently Sels the golden glove winner. Add really good new signings who are 2 seasons away from maturity - cunha, omari, savona, maybe Bakwa and Mcatee, and the lads who simply don’t fit means we are light on reliable choices. I’m not surprised we are still lurching along. We would be whoever came in. Just let’s scrape through this season and have some joined up recruitment going forward.

The players aren’t buying in to Dyche and his methods.

Some of his tactics and inability to make ingame changes 90% of the time are plain to see. Talks the same old rubbish every game. It feels like Chris Houghton at times. Binning him off at the end of the season is the sensible thing to do and i'll be happier when that day arrives.

Too simplistic - also we are almost mirroring last seasons results anyway- loss away at Fulham loss at home to Everton - loss away at Villa only difference a home win v Man City last year!
Tuesday is pivotal though

I made a flippant joke as couldn’t be arsed to name everyone but the underlining point was true. The collective deserve some blame, it’s not about being fair, football isn’t about fairness. |
