I remember it well and he was 100% in the wrong but we should never have sold Campbell, which was a major catalyst.

I still havent got over the sale of Peter Davenport to Man Utd a week after Maurice Roworth said he was staying put. And we only got £600k for him.

Scarred me that episode has.

The shafting of the football club and its fans was done by Irving Scholar and Nigel Wray.

True but I think it's fair to say that Van Hooijdonk played a roll in that too.

Remember it well. I believe it was the day of the riots in Nottingham. Hearing news reports in the ground we were unsure if we'd be get home safely as there was mass civil disobedience in the city and Canning Circus police station had apparently been torched. 

Earlier on that day Wesley Verhoek had been showed around the stadium and was due to sign a contract next day.....

30 years ago today on 16/8/1992, Teddy Sheringham scored the first ever live goal on Sky Sports Super Sunday as Forest beat Liverpool 1-0.
