Why? By common consensus Ribeiro was one of our star performers last season. No idea what wage he was on but he was outstanding at times and Im sure he was / is one of our lower paid players. But I do believe that the way the 2 managers set their respective teams up did contribute to Ribeiro’s performance.
In no way absolving him of blame.

Well he signed a two year contract for one thing. I am sure nobody held a gun to his head when he signed it. If he wasn't happy with the terms he shouldn't have signed it in the first place. Secondly, how does anyone have the balls to ask for more money (if it's true) straight after one of the biggest f**k ups in the history of English Football.

I think he was mate although by the time he said he wasn't on twitter he had already recovered by then. Anyone I'm leaving it alone now.

Not sure it's fair to criticise him for wanting a pay increase after a good season, particularly as his contract is up at the end of this season. Pretty standard practise to pay someone when they have a significantly below market contract, I'm sure he'd have still accepted a low-ish deal.

Just my opinion but last summer I would say that he had no bargaining power whatsoever after the way last season ended.
