Rangers lost to Livingstone?

Worrall getting a baptism of fire in the muck and nettles of Scottish football..?

It will be a steep learning curve.

Dawson, Fox and Hefele are all getting on a bit in football terms.

After a good season at Rangers I think he'll be ready to chaalenge for a first team spot with us next season.

Fox 32, Hefele 28. Whilst I cant see Dawson going on for much longer with his injury record, you would hope for a couple more years from Fox and five from Hefele, both look in good nick.

100%

Against Villarreal he got a 7.08 rating, & to put that into context Hefele is currently ranking 6.75 for the season & I'm not saying that as a criticism of Hefele, 6.75 is an adequate rating at this level, I'm merely trying to highlight how good Joe really is. He was a 6.89 last season & at his age is learning & improving every match.

As you say Dawson is on borrowed time now, & while Fox has been enjoying the form of his Forest career he is still 32 & he's been here long enough for us to know his limitations, so undoubtedly of course we need to look to the future & their replacements.

I think that's fair comment.  We have CHs for the 'here and now' but Worrall was showing good progress if a little 'shell shocked' alongside Mancienne last season at times. But it's a lot to ask very young players to carry the burden of mediocre senior squad players ergo the clear out post Preston in January.

I'd like to see Worrall as our future captain.  He's a keeper.

I doubt he was as good as they said he was in the Villareal game.
Neither was he as bad yesterday.
Fans just love to exaggerate - I’ve told you all a million times!

Hehehe TPL, the old ones are the best eh.

As far as Im aware, Ive never heard any mention of the Rangers loan of Worral being more than that. Gerrard I think is trying to make the lad feel good and wanted. He'll be back.

Sure, Worral was pissed about being sent out on loan but hes well down the pecking order right now and at his age needs games. Hefele? What a buy he is. Not just as a player but as a leader, dressing room presence and character. I would think Dawson has the most reason to be pissed about his signing. We have suspensions, injuries and loss of form to come yet. Squad depth is vital.

Well if Gerrard feels that way too we need to get him out of there and placed at a club where he will develope. In hindsite is Rangers the best place for a youngster to be learning his trade? The Rangers fans are even less forgiving than the Forest lot and Gerrards no Dario Gradi, hes learning himself so I question the wisdom of that decision if there is genuine hope for Worral to come home ready made.

I watched the game over the weekend. comments from fans were saying that 2 other centre half's are a class above Worrall.

I hope it works out for him there. he has only played 2 games so I think they are being harsh.  their problem was that Livingston were too good for them kept them out . rangers had no threat whatsoever.

Rangers is a basket case of a club and their fans have had years now of shite to contend with. What they won't yet have seen is Wozza's biggest asset - his strength of character. When he gets settled, fit and sharp he'll do the business. No doubt in my mind.

And let's face it, Celtic aside, the standard up there must be mid table Champ at best. He's easily up to that standard.

If I remember correctly - there was long talks before Worrall signed because Kranky was concerned about game time he would get up there and to clinch the deal Gerrard promised Kranky that he would get it which was also well documented at that time.
