W on Sunday it is then!

That one win vs Fulham was pretty epic from memory. It wasn't quite as bad a situation at that point that time due to the bottom 3 being worse but there were similarities in terms of lack of goals and then we exploded and just battered them. Same again please! Most of that team will be starting too aside from Wood. According to google, CHO and MGW scored (as well as Wood), so we can repeat that this time then and just let Jesus or Taiwo score the other one.

Taiwo and Netz would both start this one if I was picking the side

I'd like Taiwo and McAtee to be given some proper game time.

Taiwo yes.
But who would you drop for Mcatee, and what has he done to warrant inclusion?
I don’t think ‘we haven’t seen much of him’ or ‘he can’t be any worse’ are logical reasons for promotion.

Personally I’d keep our strongest team for Fulham and Spurs and bin off the European ball and chain. We ain’t going to win it in a month of Sundays so give Mcatee and others a chance in that game rather than the league games. If he shows up, then he earns the right to play more.

Agree. We cant now win the Europa. Our only chance was to take a lead up to their place and we blew that. Its all about the prem now. Re McAtee, how many chances is the lad going to be given? More than one coach has hooked him at HT. I can see him playing in the championship in a couple of years and I dont mean playing for us.

What have some of the others done to keep getting picked ahead of him?

He showed up in his last start and was man of the match against Ferencvaros.

We're only 1-0 down, they're not suddenly going to turn into Barcelona in Denmark. Imagine the game will go pretty similarly. Being at home they might even attack a little more and give us more opportunities.

Im not giving up on McAtee either and I know he is very highly rated. My feeling is he is someone who wont deliver unless he has time on the ball or we are dominating possession which is what happened vs the Hungarians. How that useless team is getting to the last 8 is beyond me, thats another matter.
Don’t think he is here and now, if we stay up he gets a loan, we go down I think he becomes key to getting us back up if he wants to stay.

Not going to lie, I’m dreading this one. It’s so important now and I just fear another one without scoring.

But there’s always hope. Maybe we can recreate the 3-1 win a few seasons ago when MGW tore them apart in the first half.

Any news on Harry Wilson’s injury and if he’s likely to play or not?

One swallow doesn’t make a summer.
And it wasn’t against PL opposition- a criticism (and a reasonable mitigating factor) often levelled at Jesus.

I’m not defending several of the current team but really, who do you drop?
As a 10 it would be Morgan, on the right it would be Hutch. I can’t see either of those swaps being for the betterment of the team.

I can’t see him ousting Anderson as an 8 or even Dominguez who’s battling qualities and experience outweigh any straws of hope you are clutching sniff.

I’m not saying he’s a bad player, just a victim of circumstance and not the right player for the here and now.

The solution is more to change the team style as a whole rather than swap individuals

McAtee, MGW, Hutchinson and Anderson have all played together before for England under 21's.

It is not my job to work out how to get McAtee into our team.

What I am saying is what we have been doing isn't working, we are not scoring goals and we are not winning games.

So how about we try something different?

McAtee played the second leg against Fenerbache and was dreadful. So not sure why he is the saviour. He looks devoid of all confidence.

We should play the first team and hope that they have all been in bed resting. We need a high energy performance. I am all for giving Taiwo a go. He is a chaos bunny. Jesus though hasn't been bad. I think he is a good player but he is isolated. Taiwo can deal with that because he is Physical. Put Jesus up with someone and I think he can quite easily score goals. On his own forget it.

The simple fact is we need to win. We have to find a goal. Hope Fulham make a mistake. Press hard. Look what Leno did against the Shammers.

Spuds and Wet Spam have hard games but we need to put the pedal to Fulham's throat who generally do well against us.

f**k. if y0ou want to do something different. Then 4-4-2 with Taiwo and Jesus up front. I think CHO is playing injured. There is nothing average about CHO if he is fit. He looked slow against the Danes. I think he is playing through something.

or push Anderson up with Morgan.

Chicago: Attack minded.
