If Nuno thinks it is the correct decision, with all due respect he will know his players better than any supporter will.

I think it's the correct decision that they are not playing because they only arrived back yesterday.

However the final was on Sunday so I think it is fair to ask why they didn't get back earlier?

I am somewhat less than impressed about the lack of availability of the Afcon contingent considering this:

Iñaki Williams went straight from being knocked out of the Africa Cup of Nations with Ghana to knocking Barcelona out of the Spanish Cup.

On Monday he was a substitute as Ghana failed to win their final group game and on Tuesday, as soon as their fate was sealed, he was on a plane back to Europe.

He landed in Paris at 6am on Wednesday from where his club had a private jet waiting to take him to Bilbao - it was worth it.

With 107 minutes gone of Athletic's epic Copa del Rey quarter-final, on as a substitute, he ran on to Asier Villalibre's cross. His first shot hit the post but he turned in the rebound to put Athletic 3-2 up

Exactly SM.

Why did it take our players 4 days to get on a plane?

I get Boly and Sangare as they had the celebration on Tuesday, but I would’ve thought Aina would have wanted to play.

Team will probably be

Sels
Williams Niakhate Murillo Nuno
Danilo Dominguez
Elanga MGW Hudson-Odoi
Awoniyi

I think the lack of effort in Sangare performances is a clue.

He needs to step up because he's been taking the piss since he's been here.

Absolutely, then its up to Nuno to get him firing on all cylinders or ship him out pretty sharpish. We can't afford to be carrying players with his price tag. It makes you wonder if he actually wanted to come here or was he forced out by his agent or PSV.

Yes I have not been very impressed either.

Watching him in the Afcon - he is just a languid player. Whoever thought he’d be a 30m player for the Premiership pace were wrong!

Lets be real here, Sangare was playing in the wrong position under Cooper because he had no trust in him playing in a more defensive role, Nuno plays him in that defensive role against Newcastle and has his best performance for us.

Talk about that Sels has a wrist injury and Turner playing tomorrow.
Hopefully not the case.
