With all due respects Reds, the last time out against them, we were 0-2 up within the first 5 minutes and whilst we did have to defend for our lives after that, we were only let down by a dodgy VAR decision penalty and an equally dodgy sending off. We should and could have won that game if it hadnt been down to the likes of corrupt Rob Jones and an equally inept and incompetent referee

Sorry we’ve been nowhere near 3 times then, 4th time we were shafted, so yes we do owe them one on Saturday

I'm very cautious about this one. I keep hearing they are there for the taking, but Villa are a better side than us and have handed them a confidence boost. They just seem to have had our number so far or if we've looked OK ref/VAR hascendured they get the help they need.

They have very good players who have woefully underperformed this season. I watched the Villa game on TV and they deserved the victory. Ominously. Rashford looked a lot sharper than he has of late. We are due a performance against them and a bit of luck so who knows how this one will go.

Just listened to Nuno's pre-match press conference, such a humble man thanking the media and calling them Sir! Mentions the fans quite a lot and the singing of MOK, looks like we have an ideal replacement for SC. Finally he mentions that we are a team that will have a go both home and away - at last that's all we want as fans Happy New Year to all from JL.

Completely agree - Nuno seems like the perfect replacement - hopefully EM and he’s crew have learnt from past mistakes and will give him plenty of time in the job without buying another 15 players this transfer window!

Excellent start and he makes me feel great just by listening to him

And again having a pop at the man who has ploughed a shed load of money into the club (and not just for players). If it wasn't for him I'd put money on the fact we would've been under embargos for years yet no we aren't. At the end of the day its his club and he can do whatever he wants to do with it besides shouldn't you be more worried about your favourite team the Sheep Shaggers.

Reported. There has to be allowed a balanced view or this place is just an echo chamber.

It cannot be allowed to just blindly follow anyone, cooper or EM. Discussion is key.

Personal insults aren’t great but I’ll rise above it

Yeah, Forest1970, I've been pretty strong in disagreeing with MP but I think only constructively as I see it. Here you've just jumped on a small part of what he said that is overall positive.

TBF F1970, on this occasion MP does kind of have a point. (Did I really just say that?)

Nuno wants a smaller squad size to work with, which he won't get if the club buy more and more players, especially ones that either dont fit the remit of our manager or are a complete waste of money.

Nuno may feel we need a new GK or striker, or he may fancy the squad he has inherited and hopes his own coaching staff will make the improvements to the present players already here. Who knows?

Whilst it is still early days and Nuno is saying and doing all the right things, I do get the impression that he is not the type of person that will roll over and have his tummy tickled to pacify the owner if he starts to interfere.

One would hope however, that as long as Nuno has the club going in the right direction in terms of performances and progression up the league, Mr Marinakis and Son will take a step back and let him get on with it.

good morning everyone, I have always been a Nottingham Forest fan, I agree with Marinakis red, our championship begins after the two beautiful victories obtained, especially the one against Newcastle, I experienced and followed this victory from afar and it was an emotion and a great joy, we need to continue like this
