The Premier League 2023/24

Sniffer, the Foxes issue was some years back when they went pop and paid about a penny in the pound to creditors I believe along with getting the KP stadium paid off for a partly sum, old big ears was involved at the time in some capacity. On the back of all that bollocks the powers that be introduced points deduction for clubs in administration and malpractice.

I think the three that went down will be the main battle for autos plus Norwich.

Boro/Sunderland aren't great, Watford could theoretically sort themselves out still but are a poorly run club. West Brom are out of money, parachute payments are finished so they're in real trouble.

Whilst I’m glad to see Festa go down I will miss a decent East Midlands derby.

Wonder when we last had a season without one, probably league one?

Shamelessly stolen from FB

Just bought a 75 inch tv to watch the premier league next season. Opened the box and there’s no Leeds ?

I think the Sheff Utd rivalry has been bigger than Leicester in my lifetime anyway. I definitely dislike them more, they were always good atmospheres too

Thinking about what’s realistic about where we should ultimately be aiming. Could do worse than Villa’s trajectory.
First season back in PL finished 17th
2nd season 11th
3rd season 14th (under Gerrard, note!)
4th season this, finished 7th qualifying for Europe.

Would say we are similar clubs both with ambitious owners, just need to find our Ollie Watkins.

We can aim at what we want but if we employ the same attritional low block tactics with our furthest player forward is 30 yards from our goal and expect to score on the break then I think we will have a bottom 5 battle on our hands once again, strengthen or not.

I would presume we'll try and be a little more expansive next year. Try to get possession up to at least 40%, hopefully help with the injuries too
