Nottingham Forest - Liverpool

I'm not sure I have a problem with Scousers. Had a great trip to Goodison in August, very friendly in pubs and a proper old school ground.

LFC I can't stand. It's both historical and recent.

I will be singing along giving grief to both their fans and players.

However, anything related to the disasters is off limits to me. I had to have a word with some younger lads at Cup game. Even the "Always the victim, its never your fault." is not needed. Especially after the Paris debacle.

Football was very different back then and being a supporter was dramatically different.  I've tried to let it go and mainly have. However, one thing that seriously gets my back up is when Scousers say "We should have had the big end"

Why? Because they are in effective - especially after 3 enquiries- saying it would have been absolutely fine for Forest supporters (who sold 27k tickets anyway) to be crushed to death. I always arrived early back then and always stood right behind the goal  so I'd have been exactly  in the "wrong place". Afterall the supporters have been completely exonerated of any blame at all, not even 1%, so Duckenfield and the stadium would have condemned me to a terrifying fight for survival......or would it?

Convrrsely  most of us there that day feel that had we been in The Leppings Lane, it may have turned out a tad differently 'just as it did in the ridiculously overcrowded away end - identical to Leppings Lane- at the old Baseball Ground a couple of weeks before Hillsborough.

Truthfully  that's why I hate the LFC rhetoric. It was tragic and innocent people died, but that doesn't mean its OK to blame us for not being in that end.

Cooper has confirmed Toffolo (hamstring) and OBrien (illness) are out, and Mangala and Aurier being monitored.

If we are to pull off a miracle here the only hope is the compact low block again and the quick break to a mobile front 3 so Johnson haters Im afraid he definitely gets to start for this one.

The one I still cannot understand is Cook at the back, not questioning his commitment or reading of the game but he is so limited. This is where Worrall comes in, the one defender who can pick a pass up to a forward player, we scored so many goals on transition last year, he gets in my team.
Of course Bade, Boly Biancone might be able to do the same but I haven’t seem them yet!

I thought Biancone looked lively on Tuesday. I would start him at RB, anything to have some kind of outlet and release a bit of pressure at the back for me.

Yes this is a good point, even if Cook is a better pure CB, Worrall's forward passing is so much better. Given our main tactic was Cook aimlessly booting it to Brennan, we may as well get Worrall to do it who has more chance of success.

I agree especially as Nunez will be most likely his opponent down that side and Biancone looks like he is the best physically equipped defender we have to match him.

Cook is in really good form at present, including some decent passing out of defence on Tuesday at Brighton.Id be leaving CBs well alone tbh after conceding 2 in 3.

Hearing that we have zero fit left backs and Aurier struggling, so might see Biancone anyway. One thing being fresh legs off bench against tired opposition for 10 minutes as opposed to starting the game. That said he looks an athletic specimen and I hope he can perform.

Pleased to see awoniyi. Think he gives us better shape in general. Unlucky for brennan but hopefully folk get their wish and he comes on full of energy after 60 minutes.

Got to say, that Liverpool team shows why they're struggling a bit. Nowhere near as strong as last year. They're still favourites obviously but we should go after them
