He hasn’t had the same support either defensively or offensively that Spence had to be fair

It’s very conceivable that once Aurier is up to speed he will be first choice.
His pedigree is certainly ahead of Neco

Bloody hope so, not impressed with Williams at all.

His crossing is not great, Lodi really showed him up in that department. Also, I wish he'd stop shooting from positions he has no chance to score.

However, I thought defensively he was pretty solid. Hopefully will be more suited to when we switch to a back 4 permanently.

Some illustrious and far more expensive company there. All except March are forward players too so at least Neco is getting forward and having a go.
Would remind you that despite 2 admittedly poorer games he is our highest ranking player stats wise.

Tbh I think the team we’ve played exposes him, defensively: the winger doesn’t cover, the holding midfielders don’t drop in, the centre halves struggle to get across.

When he’s attacking he’s generally left to go it alone whereas when Spence was playing Brennan seemed to be pretty close to him more often than not

Zero on target?

Williams had a couple on target in the same game. Forget which one it was though.

The first time I have seen any Forest player top any charts so far this season.

That is because we are always under the cosh and normally it's down his side.

Aurier looks much more assured to me.

Aurier does look the better defender right now, I've been surprised by him. I think he'll be the starter at least until the WC. Neco may well still play LB though depending on other players availability.

Neco may well be playing LB/LWB - we have 3 LBs and they are all injured. What is it with Forest and LBs?
