I changed it to last 10 years as there's so many in that period already, this was funny. I'm starting to understand what went wrong...

So a few ideas:

Jenkinson
Bong
Diakhaby
Gil Dias
Arter
Knockaert
Bachirou
Da Costa
Rafa Mir
Vellios
Carvalho  :fishing:
Hefele
Soudani
Zach Clough
Ariyibi
Cummings
Lica
Dumitru
Veldwijk
Bendtner
Chris O'Grady
Abdoun
Djebbour
Ishmael Miller

I'd add Muric to that - turned out appallingly for us.

So I think you're being a bit harsh with though. I don't think Soudani was *that* bad. We never saw Bachirou or Da Costa for long enough to see what they could do. And O'Grady was limited but at least tried. Bit harsh on Vellios too - scored a few goals and a couple of absolute screamers.

Yeah I thought Vellios was harsh too when I wrote it, I think Bach is fair he only played a few times and wasn't good. Also Da Costa played about 20 games and only scored once which was an own goal and he is a striker! He definitely makes the list.

I don't remember much about Soudani, guess he did just have a bad injury so maybe let him off.

Who was that guy we signed then sold on that literally didn't make a squad? Tachsiditis?

I always think Da Costa gets a bad rap for his own goal. If my memory serves my right he was the only player running back to try to prevent the goal and was unable to stop himself putting it into the net.

Yeah it's an easy stat to criticise, I agree with that. Although the 0 goals for is still pretty bad, given we were a playoff team (nearly) and he was up front.

Diakhaby is of course the right answer FYI

Zach Clough and Carl Jenkinson in my opinion.

Arter possibly still for me if the rumoured money we spent is even vaguely accurate.

Diakhaby was a loan do loans count?

Zach Clough did play in a few games and contributed something. A goal against the sheep was his best moment I think.

But Diakhaby, wow. By far the worst player I have ever seen in my life playing for Forest. He couldn't take a ball, he couldn't pass a ball, he couldn't control it. He couldn't score from a yard out. Literally the only thing he could do was to run fast. Run fast without the ball that is. It was like we were playing with 10 men when he was on the pitch.

Worst by value?

Probably Joao Carvalho

I agree with Diakahby, but would add Abdoun has to be up there surely?

Not travelling to a mid week away match because he was tired? Really??? He snatched the penalty away from (Lansbury?), in the 5-0 drubbing of West Ham in the FA Cup and then celebrated as though he had just scored the winner in a World Cup final, although none of his Forest team mates celebrated with him.

Bendtner? WTF was that all about?

I would add Pantillimon to the list as well. He was shocking!! Then Muric came along and was as equally bad. Add Stojkovic to that as well. It is probably harsh to say Pants and Stojkovic were the worst signings, but they were most certainly not great!!

It isn't. The rumoured £5m fee was garbage. Our entire transfer spend in that window was around £3.8m in the official accounts.

Any fee for him is too much! It's not so much transfer fee as high wages too
