need to ensure they won't get anywhere near as many clear cut chances as brum

keogh will be another 2 weeks older, uglier and more error prone

Blackpool are second in the form table with 13 points from the six last games. Only Bournemouth with 16 points are better. This will be a very difficult game.

They're all difficult games.  And this one will be a difficult game.

A win or a draw against Blackpool should give us a good indicator of whereabouts we are in terms of competing at the higher end of the league.

I hope we don't lose.  But it will be a good marker.  If we're serious about making progress we have to get some sort of result vs a team that good promoted via the play offs of the league lower.

Wonder if Gabriel will feature after his isolation?

I wonder what sort of a reception he will get after his 'nice to be wanted' comments  :huh:

I was a bit bemused that we got rid of him.  Didn't think he did a lot wrong as a developing academy player. I thought he did well vs Derby.  He could head and kick it.  Even Worrall gave lots of praise for him.  Lots of endeavour.  Thought we did well at LB too bar the sending off which was merely clumsy.

It seemed liked we'd been waiting a long time for Gabriel to break through and then he was sold.  We brought in an injured Arsenal rb and Gabriel covered for him very well.  

Perhaps the bar is set a bit high for where Forest want to go under Dane and maybe Gabriel fell slightly short of those requirements. They took the cash for him.

this should be a really good test and hopefully a great game .. as in a win

best way would be to be quick out the blocks and score early which is hopefully something we are working on despite our last amazing result

even though we scored in the 11th minute last time it was completely against the run of play, also Barnsley and 'Wall also scored first

hit the ground running and score early and it will be a much easier afternoon

Me too they have earned the shirts after the win at Birmingham, so let them go again. Just fingers crossed for no injuries before Blackpool. 

Really hope we can get the home win and chuck that monkey off our backs.

Thought the same AG, particularly Brennan. Cant we do like Fergie did with Ryan Giggs back in the day and write him a sick note “Ryan cant play for Wales as he had a bout of hiccups after lunch last week”.

Agree, McKenna has looked very good the last couple of games. Should the worst thing happen we still have Baba. He has done really well for the U23 and it would be very interesting to see how he would cope playing for the first team.

If Figs leaves in the summer (think is contract is up) ideally any new CB that comes in will be left footed.

Figs has done ok and deserves to keep his place against Blackpool.
