I liked it how Cooper switched us to a back 4 last night. Will keep the opposition guessing if we can use different formations.

I'm sure when he's got time on the ball, he's very comfortable and not nervous at all.  But from when he's been at fault for goals he's looked alike a player whose heart isn't in it.

I felt that a lot of the Portuguese players didn't cope with the high speed nature of the English game.

Tracking back.  Getting the tackles in.  There's a reason why they left or aren't getting a game now.

Figs is 'ok' until somebody rattles his cage.  I guess he's been found out in that regard.  

There have been times he's been very good.  (He was when he 1st arrived.  I was quite impressed by his composure.  A Portuguese player who was comfy with the ball at his feet with the added bonus of being able to head and kick it.) 

Think it's in his mind.  There's some ability there.  I doubt he'll survive the oncoming cull.

Did 'ok' vs Huddersfield and Millwall, though.

Interesting perception about Figs not being comfortable on the ball.

I appreciate that these facts don’t tell the whole story but what it does illustrate is how they use the ball when in possession.

Does he look nervy at times with the ball at his feet? Absolutely.

Does that mean he is uncomfortable with the ball at his feet? Absolutely not

Probably gonna get slaughtered, but most of his passes were to Joe, scott or Brice…

Not sure why you’d get slaughtered? This isn’t that kind of forum. 

You are probably right in where the ball was going but that’s likely to be the case when sitting in the middle of a three and hardly his fault, hence why I said it doesn’t tell the full story.
