And Im very glad to see it Sniffer, to be fair I had forgotten about Larsson so hopefully these 3 will be the core of our team in a few years.
Even if Soh turns out to be a dud ( dont think he will be) then at least we will have tried to invest in the future. As long as buys like this are well scouted and researched, not just some youngster who happens to be at the bottom of Mendes’s bucket then fully in favour.

Also I think we have a real mix of recruitment now. Academy youth... academy scouted both European and domestic, u23 releases - u23 loan to league ready, European first team, domestic first team...
I am much more confident that we have a proper recruitment policy now at all levels. The one area is first team loans which need to be better but hope freeman can buck the trend.

Just seen this stat on Twitter
Just the 43 permanent and 18 loan signings for Nottingham Forest since June 2017.
I would say this is more of an issue than the manger. Changing manager in itself adds to this problem as they build their own teams and so this and the associated costs spiral. Yet still we think we need even more players.

Can we at least wait until the end of the window before we start drawing conclusions.
If Christie comes in and either Darikwa or Jenkinson leaves then where is the problem?

I want to see some evidence of lessons being learned Sniffer. Granted we seem to have stopped getting kids from the Mendes stable and buying someone on the strength of knocking in a few goalsin Bulgaria. But in terms of the sheer turnover of playing staff it remains madness.

If Jenkinson does leave after only making a handful of appearances then surely it's clear that Sabri has been given complete control over 1st team transfers.
That is more or less the case now Pap. Not complete but more or less.

And when it doesnt work we will have a new manager inheriting a playing squad of 38, many over 30 Years old and past their best on big wages. New manager wants his own players, “Hey, Gary, who can we flog from academy to fund it all this year?”
