Injuries And Suspensions
Also Danilo is almost there, Monday too soon but isn't far off now.

Sangare is back on the training pitch too. Close to joining full training.

I haven't given up on him.

I still think there is a player in there.

Agree - he was doing well until the injury. Certainly a different option/profile to what we have but who does he displace now ?

Completely agree. The coaching staff also think so too!

Have we ever had a signing who's had such a stuttering start to his Forest career caused by injury, bad luck, acclimatisation etc? Jonno snr struggled when he first came and then was brilliant in his third(?) season.

IIRC we were all pleasantly surprised how much Sangare was improved at the beginning of the season. Let's hope he can get back on it soon.

Yep, good call. He turned things around with us.

It's great to have both Danilo and Sangare back again.

They were Nuno's first choices at the start of the season.

There's a detailed breakdown of injuries by team on the Sky Sports website here: https://www.skysports.com/football/news/...fered-most

As I've said on the transfers thread, we've been very lucky this season so far. I wouldn't want to leave it to chance by not getting another forward in. An injury pretty-much any other position I think we could absorb reasonably well but if Wood got injured we'd need more than just Awoniyi as his replacement.

Even if Taiwo is fit I’m pretty sure he has never once played 90 mins. He’s usually on his arse by 60. Need insurance for sure.
