I have been banging on about it for weeks. Our crossing and final ball is shocking but folks keep replying to me that we need pace. We don't need pace, we need someone who can cross and pass a football. Beckham had no pace, Robbo had no pace but they knew how to cross a ball.
Sniff it's fair to say you completely missed all points or did not understand I'm not sure which during our discussion on this.
But fortunately our manager has identified the need for more pace and mobility throughout our team and understands the importance of turning teams making it harder to defend when that final ball comes in the box and is looking to address it.

Does anyone know if Saturday's cup game counts as one of Ribeiro's red card match bans?

As I understand it red card suspensions apply over all competitions ( so yes he is banned for Saturday and 2 others) but yellow card suspensions only apply to league games.

Yep. Spot on.
Boro seemed to have powerful runners. We didn't.
We couldn't do to Boro what they did to us. And Hughton knows it.
If you're pedestrian you chase shadows. Pace. It upsets teams. Like it upset Forest. With one midfielder easily ghosted in the build up to the 1st goal.

I understand what you are saying MR. However you can have all the pace in the world but if there is no decent cross or decent final ball at the end of it then what what is the point? I repeat without wishing to get boring, our crossing and final ball is garbage.

Yes. Me for starters. He can't carry the can for weak fullbacks on both sides.
The game was well lost by the time Knocker came on.
He's just one Hughton signing. We could do with some more this Jan.
And a Hughton Summer window and preseason and several months after that we may get to see where Forest under Hughton really are.
It will take patience all round.
If it helps, Knocker is one of 11 players whose contract is up in the Summer...

Well, Tyson's end product wasn't always good but his pace unsettled teams.
Forest's problem is they don't have pace or quality.
Boro bull dozed into Forest's marsh mallow fullbacks and ghosted past the wingers.
Whatever Boro have under Warnock we don't have under Hughton. Power. Pace. The wingers and fullbacks who played last night weren't his signings.
Warnock fever up his side following the complacent loss to Birmingham. Perhaps Forest were complacent.
We had our unbeaten run. Boro weren't world beaters. But when you give cheap goals away to Warnock? You're on the back foot and staying there as he knows which buttons to press.

I wouldn't worry about it Sniffer Dog. The fans suffer more than footballers.
I wish I could get paid ten to 30 grand a weak to lose.
Forest. Footballers are paid a lot to lose. And have temper tantrums near the corner flag and ex players like Brit grinning and baiting our players of a club who treated him well.
Soh's goal was a beauty from a pin point cross by Lolley.
If Lolley did that every game he'd back up what you say.

I hear you Sniffer :D
How about that in a 28 man squad there should be someone with pace and someone who can pick a pass and cross a ball, not too much to ask?
For passing, Cafu unexpectedly can do it better than we thought, Knockaert nowhere near as well as we thought, Lolley not as well as he used to and Freeman god knows.
Pace wise, well beyond Mighten nobody.
Think we need both which is why I would welcome both of Krovinovic and Murphy. Emphasise we need to move out some of the dead wood first.
