Is Our Squad Stronger Or Weaker Than Last Season

He mysteriously picked up an injury before the Arsenal game and not been seen or heard of since. Not to my knowledge anyway.

It’s no coincidence our season went downhill last year as soon as Daws was injured, now it’s happening again. I have said time and again how much I admire him, always have, but to have our season depend on an injury prone 34? year old is just plain crazy, especially after last season.

Let’s hope we can hang about the top of the table until Jan then get some quality additions.

There is history. Bridcutt, Milosevic, Yacob and now Semedo. What the hell is going on?

You have those four players in the side and I don't think we lose to Hull or Wigan.

eg... Bridcutt and Milo are drop ins. Yacob too. And we are scratching around for cover for Sow and Dawson.

What are the rumours? Hopefully wide of the mark as he would be really useful right now!

More to it than just missing Dawson.

Carvalho and Lolley are not at the races, I think that's more of a problem than Dawson being out.

Agree re others not on top of their game, but still believe Daws is by far biggest miss. We did not look like conceding when he was playing but now we are seeing teams create chances. Does that Wigan goal happen if Daws is playing? I doubt it. Do Hull create 4 clear cut chances last night with Daws playing? Again I doubt it.

When you look really tight at the back, it is deflating for opposition and breeds confidence for the attacking element as you know 1 goal can usually get a result.

No doubt we have missed Dawson but I reckon we have missed Sow just as much. Sooner they are both back the better. The squad is not the finished article yet, still one or two tweaks needed but we are getting there.
