Spence had his 3rd great performance in a row?

Yates colossal in CM?

Jet Heels Johnson?  (One assist and one goal.)

What was different for me tonight? Shrewd subs.

Figs off. A defender. Grabban on. Striker on.

Lolley off. Mighten on.

Garner off, Colback on. (And YES! It worked. Seemed to add extra experience, steel and composure to the CM.)

But with plenty of time to do something about it when Barnsley were on the rack.

Thought the subs were well timed, incisive and showed Steve has quickly grasped the players at his disposal. In very short time, I might add.

Thought Forest seemed better balanced with the 4-2-3-1.

Reflection on last night, a few points to be shared,

I left the ground being proud of my team and what they had produced both first and second half, I was saying at half time if our touch had just been better at key points and the final pass better we would be well up already. Second half forest blew them away. It was great to watch.

Entertaining football at last. Utilised our pace well and what I've been saying for a long time is you hurt teams when you get in behind defences and make them face there own goal. Goals come so much easier. 3 of them to be precise and could of been more.

Cooper tactically got it spot on and made the change that made the difference. A positive one with more than enough time to make an impact. CH take note in your next job. Hats off to cooper he really has made a cracking start and impression. He is giving our forward thinking players a platform and freedom to play from.

Another huge positive for me is the connection he has already built with the fans, all of us in that away end were proud to be singing his name, we were doing what he said we would do. Was a fantastic feeling.

The affection he showed towards fans at the end with the first pump was great we need that at this club we need to feel apart of things, that connection has been missing and I loved every minute of it but what I took more from was he was going around every single player putting his arm around them with a smile on his face telling them he was proud of them. More of that please, that builds confidence and trust with player and manager. They have been crying out for a bit of love and confidence.

The mentality we have shown already to come from behind twice in a week and take some points is huge. The tide is turning.

Bring on Birmingham on Saturday, more of the same please Mr Cooper.

Stevie Cooper, Stevie Cooper he hates the Leicester, hates the Derby thinks Forest are magic.

Anyone else think that leaving Taylor on the bench with no striker on the pitch is a clear sign that cooper also thinks he is terrible.

I imagine and hope it is the beginning of the end for taylor

For the first time in a long time I really enjoyed watching my team play last night.

Not getting carried away though because Barnsley were shocking and on that evidence they will be relegated.

Or he recognises that he had not got much confidence right now.

We all know there is a decent CF in there after he destroyed us 2 seasons back (twice) I'm sure Cooper will be looking to tease that player back out rather than outright writing him off a week into his tenure.

If Grabban (not even fully fit) and Jonno continue like last night, chances will be few and far between for back up CFs though.

Jonno looks so good right now, I can't believe someone suggested they couldn't see it last night. I'm not sure if we need to buy David Johnson a boat or something but lets get this new contract done.

Even if we don't we'll be able to sell for 10m+plus next summer if we want to, even with only 1 year left, he's that good. Actually surprised Brentford chose to not get the deal over the line in the end, they were getting a bargain.

Cheers Joe!

'Slam it into the net!'

Brennan assumes Jesus pose.

Great distribution from Samba there.

That Grabban goal. Was that Colback with the glorious pass to Mighten who skinned and ghosted the two Barnsley players like they weren't there?

Worrall. Hoisting Grabban up for the 'bum slap' celebration. Quality.

Aye pass from Colback, mighten takes on and violates the Barnsley defender puts the ball across goal and Grabban is where he’s supposed to be like all his best goals to tap into the net. Magic!

Colback was excellent when he came on. Don't think I have seen him that good before. Seems like Cooper is having a positive effect on all players.
