True Jock but they have been mainly shit this season. We simply have to beat them.

Yep this is as close to a home banker as there is in this division if you want to end up top 6.

We need to go on a run of 5 or 6 wins on the bounce if we're going to close the gap on the top 2.

Cant see it myself but we live in hope. Start on Tuesday.

To be fair Pap you called it a few weeks ago that West Brom and Leeds would pull away.

I agree that we now have a go on a run and put a few wins together over the next few games.

Well, not having a 'Colback' style strength in depth in DCM really cost Forest the points to be in contention for the top 2.

That's where Forest have really lost ground Since Sow...and subsequently Yates have been out.

Forest have struggled to impose themselves in games.

Two teams always begin to pull away every year. You can usually 'sense it' about the time it happens (about this time of year....) the momentum kicks in and away they go.

It looks like being WBA and Leeds. With Fulham being most likely to catch them. But if the top 2 wobble, will Forest have the strength in depth to take advantage of it?

Historically? No. This year hinges on injuries and suspensions which have cost Forest dear in the last 2 months.

January could be the transfer window that changes that. 3-4 players in? Several more out?

We must win this game. We can't fail to beat the likes of Wigan, Hull, Millwall, Cardiff, Blackburn and expect to get promoted.

A few people were saying a point away at Milwall was a good result. Not for me. We should be winning that game if we think we're top 2 capable. And nothing less than 6 points from these 2 home games is required now.

We need to keep winning and winning and see if we can slowly chip away at the gap between us and Leeds/ WBA. It's been done in the past but for it to happen we need to sort our results out asap.

If we dont win tonight then we're in full blown December slump territory and we should be concerned.

No one who has had more than 42 points after 20 games in the championship has gone on to not finish in the top 2 in recent memory. There is two example of teams with 42 points missing out of top two but the gap was 3 points between QPR (42) and Leicester (39) and 7 points between Brighton (42) Burnley (35). So i can be done and we need to go out there and believe we can catch them and give it everything we can.

It is absolutely possible. If we win our game in hand against Reading we will be on 36 points. That's 6 behind Leeds. If we beat Leeds at home we could be only 3 behind so we only have to win one more game than Leeds to equal their points total  :D surely that's possible.
