Just watched the Betis collapse on the TV when I got in.
Amazing that Braga have reached the semi final, I thought they were incredibly poor when we played them.
We’ve got nothing to fear in my opinion other than managing the workload.

We still have to play the strongest team in the Europa League, Aston Villa. If we do beat them then I agree

Braga redemption match in the final?
Such a shame it's Villa in the semi. We battle through to reach the last four and end up playing the team 50 miles down the road.

Cus we don’t have the record in Europe in recent years, had we we wouldn’t have had to have played the teams that finished in the top 8 in the league phase and then would have been the other half (yes that’s very self explanatory I know)

The Premier League has scheduled Nottingham Forest to play away to Chelsea on Monday, May 4.
That's three days before the 2nd leg of the Europa League semi.
It will be the only time this season a team in the Europa League or Conference League has been scheduled on the Monday.
Corrupt as f**k.

It seeems incredibly shortsighted for the tv companies to choose us for a game on a Monday before a thursday when a euro semi final is scheduled. Cheers sky. Thanks for that.

I raised it on the Europa thread a few weeks back but the response was that the PL was the priority :/

That wasn't our down to not having a record in Europe - that was due to not finishing in the top eight ourselves.

PL giving us an extra day to recover after the first leg against Villa before facing Chelsea.
Not sure how that is corrupt?

Yes I get that Sniffer. But imagine if it was a big 6 club, Arteta or Slott would be all over the media complaining how unfair it was.

Yes I can see it from both sides.
Personally though I would rather have the extra days rest before going to Chelsea.
Think Vitor will see it that way too.

Anyone know when the Villa away tickets go on sale? I’m surprised they’ve not been announced yet
