Obviously desperate to avoid extra time.
Similar team to the first leg.

I'm not sure that team is good enough to win though, that's the tricky part. I think I would risk it and go close to full strength.

Neither am I but I think that is what we will do.

I guess if we are expecting extra time and penalties then there is some logic to holding some players back.

Sorry but staying up is more important than a trophy so I would play a second string and be focused on Sunday first and for most.

If we get through against Porto, although I think its quite possible that they can get a result, I dont think we can beat Villa over 2 legs, so concentrate on staying in the PL please!

I honestly don’t understand this mindset.
No one will remember relegation in five, ten, twenty years.
Winning a European is what it’s ultimately all about for me.

Agreed.
Plus what happens if you play a second string then don't beat Burnley anyway. Would the likes of Anderson, MGW etc really feel great watching Mcatee and Yates get beaten by Porto, is that really going to give us the best chance vs Burnley?
I would rotate a bit but only because I am anticipating extra time and would like to finish with the best team out there for that.

We will do our very best to achieve both staying in the PL and winning the EL.
We don't have to choose one or the other.

Am I the only one who thought Abbott was good against Porto. Morato was dreadful again. I would prefer Cunha in for Morato. Of course Vitor probably doesn't want to upset his senior player but we are playing to win.
Beating Porto would be a huge boost but we really need a result against Bumley too.
It's a tough one. I would play Bakwa though. He looks a menace when he is confident. Just got to get him to torture their full back as they are a very physical side.
Chicago: Caught between two worlds.
