Only one man though, how much wages can you really give a manager. Still can't believe Leeds actually got Bielsa. Is transforming their team, they looked disappointingly good last night. Just show the impact one man can have

EFL profit and sustainability rules mean clubs can only spend their income and losses of £8m a year. Beyond that it doesn’t matter how rich their owners are.

Their income is 150% ours, or it was before they were promoted. They had one and half times the spending power of nffc.

Amazing isn’t it? They look at home in the EPL.

I think I read somewhere that Bielsa is on 6m a season and he has an entourage of 26 staff with him which includes three assistant managers, four first team coaches and numerous analysts.

If you look at Leeds United's accounts their wage bill jumped from 31m to 46m the season he joined, and that was with 11 players coming in and 41 going out

it's looking like money really well spent, ok i'm only seeing match of the day highlights but they play some really good stuff and could far exceed expectations and spending, cue them being 6 points adrift at the bottom at Xmas, my gut feeling is analytics can be very tediously soul destroying, but if set up right it could be as much about improving passion, motivation, player profiling and confidence as well as fitness and tactics, might even be about applying the analytics in ways that suit players strengths, what i'm saying is the gut feeling is cold light of day analytics seems detrimental as in being oppressive but not neccessarily the case, Bielsa seems to have all the formula's and secret ingredients right at the moment

Based on what?

We should only sack Sabri if we can get a decent replacement- valverde would be amazing, my preference would be Hughton or Big Sam. Paul Cook would also be good.
The current suggestions are underwhelming and in my opinion we’d be better keeping Sabri.

No wins in 11? Really?

Sabri is spent.

I’ve stated that I think Sabri should go - mostly emotional responses to matches BUT this guy has had 12 clubs in 10 seasons or something like that. Cheap option.
Time in my opinion opinion is that we go one of two ways from here on in.
Option 1: the best coach they can get with a massive promotion bonus on a short contract. E.g big Sam.
Option 2: structural revamp and appoint a proper director of football / sporting director ( Garry Brazil for me). Revamp scouting for long term and instil a footballing philosophy from academy through to first team. Employ a number of talented young coaches and a real long term plan. First team coach to be young and ambitious but totally on board.
