Into the Q.Finals of the premier league international cup beating Monaco 3-1
Moreira played right wing and scored and assisted. Fin back scored and got sent off

Yates booking and ban means that 100 year odd record will end unless Nuno replaces him with another academy player.
Get Abbott on the bench on Sunday?!

I hope so. 9 places on the bench, and worst case scenario we needed our second substitute centre half, well he’s half decent ain’t he? He was ok to play against Newcastle in the milk cup wasn’t he.

The B team got knocked out of the County Cup by Basford United last night 4-1. I have been reliably informed though that the majority of the B Team consisted of u-18's players. Both Grabban and Andy Reid were in attendance at Greenwich Avenue

The B Team played Derby the day before and it was a full strength side that also included a 17 yr old.
On that basis it would have effectively been the u18’s who have been getting regularly thumped in the league this season.

B Team through to the semi-final of whatever European trophy they're competing in.

With Brighton & Bournemouth dropping back, it's feeling like Europe is looking more and more likely even if we do fail to get top 5. So thinking about the 4 homegrown players rule as part of a 25, just wondering if we have anyone remotely close to being usable for those slots.
Obviously Yatesy takes one spot, presumably Abbott unless he goes on loan somewhere. Maybe a 3rd keeper?
Or do we go in for some of our historic academy players? Cahs and Brennan are the top dogs but I'm not convinced they'd be available or easy to sign. Cash maybe, depending on what Villa do in the summer but would he want to sign as a backup.
Otherwise, what about more left field options? Lascelles as 4th choice CB? Bamford or Brereton Diaz as 4th choice CF?! Anyone else I've forgotten? Ahmedhodzic as a backup CB? Darlow 3rd choice keeper? My guess is they probably do nothing and just fill the spots with academy players and Yayes but thought it might be fun to be reuinted with some of these guys!

Matty Cash or Brennen I would be on board with but given the opposing clubs would know exactly what we're trying to do, they would be even more expensive than if we were just trying to buy them normally. Possibly Darlow as backup as you mention. The rest, nah, I would prioritise bringing in some young lads for the experience.
Suspect some younger lads are going to get the nod.

My only worry is it wouldn’t any that we are loaning out but are they ready for the league? I wouldn’t mind giving dale Taylor a chance let’s say but he wouldn’t want to just be available for the minimum 8 European games and as he’s 21 he wouldn’t be a free space in the league, so stay at Forest for a season where you might not play competitive football or another loan out playing 50 games you hope?

Lascelles isnt going to come here and sit on our bench. Not at this stage in his career. He could go to another prem team and play probably. Subject to injuries of course.
And the clubs & agents will know we need them desperately so unless they're out of contract, we'll get screwed over on the fee and wages.
