Samba doing samba things

Thought worrall and garner had particularly poor nights

Thats slain the ghosts of 2003 and 2007

Wonder who was down for the 5th pen? Wozza? Jack?

I also thought McKenna had one of his poorer games too.

I think sometimes you have to hold you hands up and say some of our players played badly because of the opposition. It was the same 2nd half v Bournemouth.

Lets hope Huddersfield didn't spot the same tactic that Sheff U and Bournemouth used to dominate us. Hopefully having Davis start will help too

Well, I think that's it really. It's no coincidence that we've been stopped playing by two good sides. Huddersfield are a good side too so there's no reason why they wouldn't fancy themselves to be equally as sucessful. I've not seen much of them this season but my impression of them is that that they have their own successful way of playing which is defending deep, soaking up pressure, hitting teams on the counter. They're also effective from set plays.  If 'stopping us playing' comes at a cost to their system, will they go all in or will they stick to what's got them where they are?

Best keeper in this league easily
Great lucky win lads Wembley here we come
Hopefully we rest and recover ok surely garner is a doubt ?

Were they ever here? Of course not so lets not go there or I will start asking where the Greek haters are and I will start asking about some of those Vrentzos signings who have come really good this season like Samba, Colback, Mckenna, Grabban, Lolley, Garner, Figs and even Cafu. So like I said it's better not to go there.

Enjoy the victory we are one step away from the PL. No need to be pointing fingers.

If we make it to the PL then everybody should be applauded including EM, Vrentzos, Murphy, Cooper and all his staff and all the player's and fans. Everyone has played their part in one way or another.

Lets concentrate on finishing the job.

Well said Sniff.

The Guardian minute-by-minute review is excellent. Particularly the line about every fan looking like they're going to vomit up their soul.

Personally I thought the Keinan Davis was unbelievable last night. He was the only way out we had and it looked like he was playing a different sport at times. His control at speed is wonderful. 10 days now to get him fit and firing on all cylinders.

I was always disappointed when he passed it, felt we had the most chance of scoring if he just ran through their entire team.

The author was very spot on about Yates and Garner being dominated, was a game you'd have loved to have Colback in the middle for.

I think he just had no legs left around him. There wasn’t anyone capable of running past him into space at that point in the game. Not a criticism of any of the players, as they worked incredibly hard all game

They had too much space, it always looked like they had more players than us. However we have to allow for the fact that these players have given everything this season, they must be exhausted. Hope they can recuperate enough to just give us 90 mins of there all for one last time.
I’m sure SC has sussed that teams know if they can keep BJ and Spence quiet then a lot of our threat has gone, but luckily it seems as though Davies is getting fit again and will hold the ball up enough for us to push forward in other areas.
Credit to Billy for saying he holds no grudges against Forest, I think he knows the majority of us hold him in high regard.
I was emotionally and mentally spent last night totally drained as I’m sure we all were.
Onward to Wembley !!!

Video going around showing ollie mcburnie stamping on a forest fan who was on the ground.
wonder what feckingbottom will say about that, and I am not condoning what happened to billie sharp that was disgraceful.

I agree on how Sharp has handled it - an absolutely classy lad who gave his all in a red shirt when he was with us - why anyone thought he deserved that is beyond me. Ultimatelt No one deserves that but for the brain dead moron who did the attack - I hope he is severely punished because his actions have unfortunately shaped the narrative of what should have been an overwhelmingly positive day - and I really resent that.

As for McBurnie - it doesn't look good but without knowing what happened before that it is difficult to judge. If unprovoked it looks bad, if he was attacked by the bloke... that is a different scenario and I would not condone it because I would expect the likes of colback and cafu to respond of attacked (as the lads did when that Leicester fan tried to have a go)
