It seems the palace fans believe a mco is one man or one entity that owns multiple clubs and not multiple men who own multiple clubs owning equal share of one club… and if that’s vague then it’s our fault that we forced uefa (didn’t you know? Marinakis’ father in law is general secretary of uefa) to demote them for us even though we had European competition anyway

Are we subject to UEFA's financial rules this season, with us being in whichever UEFA competition we end up in?
As I understand it they're stricter than the Premier League's PSR rules so I'm wondering if it could explain the sale of Elanga and the relatively slow transfer window so far?

Yes we will be subject.
However I don’t think that is related to why we sold Elanga.
Elanga was sold because we needed a PSR sale before 30th June 2026 and we thought it was too risky waiting to do a deal next summer pre this date and getting low balled. 55m was too good to turn down.
UEFA rules aren’t quite as strict and if breached we would get a reasonably small fine

Chelsea and Aston Villa have been fined by Uefa for breaching the European governing body's financial rules.
The two clubs could be prevented from registering new players for Uefa competitions for the forthcoming season unless they have a positive transfer balance by the end of the summer transfer window.
Chelsea have been fined 31m euros (£26.7m) and could be fined a further 60m euros (£51.2m) if they do not comply with the rules in the next four years.
Villa have been fined 11m euros (£9.5m), with a further 15m euros (£12.9m) conditional on compliance in a three-year period.
The punishments relate to a breach of Uefa's football earnings rule and having a squad cost ratio - the proportion of their income paid out in wages - above 80%.

I meant as strict as in I thought they were harder to pass. I saw that Chelsea and Villa got away with just fines. And yeah, that makes sense re Elanga.

What a mess! And none of it really Forest’s doing afterall, irrespective of said letter and its contents, Uefa were already investigating Palace. Part of me would like Forest to come out and say you know what, Conference League is what we qualified for so thats what we want to take part in. Part of me thinks sod it we are not the ones here who did anything wrong, and if fans of other clubs etc perceive sending a letter to Uefa was bad, well what exactly would their clubs have done in the same situation.

If we're going to be playing Thursday-Sunday all the time, prefer it to be against Europa opposition.

I would honestly be less bothered about the whole situation if the Conference League allowed automatic qualification into the league stage. But it would be utterly peak Forest to lose in the qualifying round to San Marino United or someone.

Still nothing on the CAS website for a hearing
Last of the 1st round of qualification matches is today for conference league, something needs to be definitive in the media sooner then later

August 4th is the draw for the Conference League qualifying round so that's the latest it can realistically be is August 3rd (and I'm not sure that's realistic).
So that's a maximum 17 more days.

If they think they'll win, is the date of the draw a barrier? It'd be someone else's problem.
