He looked bang average didn’t he and that’s being generous. Nowhere near the level we should be looking at IMO.
Scotland had 17 shots on goal in 3 matches combined, the lowest by any country since 1980.

Scotland looked like a team of championship players. He looked poor even by that standard.

For me, Scott McKenna was one of Scotlands stand out players last night. Just backs up the above point really

Remember Hal Robson Kanu getting a move off the back of that goal in the Euros - cant say the same for Che Adams, looked awful throughout

Austria look like the best team in the tournament so far.

Bar one move which brought a disallowed goal England looking incredibly ponderous.

Met up with a few people for a meeting that ended just before Italy’s game last night I said it would be 1-0 (I’m half Italian) they thought there would be goals galore, I was nearly right for the wrong team! Italy just coasting through bit like France

Hughton  Southgate already planning how he can get a 0-0 on Sunday and take it to pens.

Scotland looked like a Championship side because they essentially are. England looked like a championship side because they've got a championship manager.

Have to say, this tournament has nor exactly been a classic. Other than Germany and Austria- possibly Spain- its been a bit shite

In this England team we have the Bundesliga top scorer, La Liga player of the season and the EPL player of the season, yet our manager Mr. Southgate picks a system that makes all three look completely ineffective.

It's all too safe. No one wants to take a risk. No one wants to go past a player. Considering the players we have on the pitch that's remarkable. It's a shambles.

Wouldn't we be better switching to a back three of Guehi, Stones, Walker with Trippier right wing back and Saka left wing back?

At least that would give us some balance and width across the pitch.
