The thing is Salv I think with our quality players on the pitch this season we're out of trouble now no problem. Amd thats after the really poor start we made. Its just every time we get some momentum we lose players and it feels like we get f****d over by a higher power.
I think if we'd had half of them we'd have been around the level of Wolves

Please bear in mind that Cooper hasn't managed in anything higher than the championship and does look a little like a rabbit caught in the headlights. I've said before he needed someone who is accustomed to the premiership to be his number 2 and also more tactically knowledgeable. I think its definitely going down to the last couple of games to decide if we stay up or not.

Me too. Ive disagreed with Cooper's decisions and thr way we've set up all season but by a country mile thr biggest negative influence on our season has been our horrific injury record.

We've looked poor from set plays for ages now. A more experienced back room staff would have nailed that weakness im sure.

Have defended our performance today but these points I absolutely agree with.

I think Ayew came on after 8 minutes into the second half, if Cooper was going to bring taiwo off after 8 minutes then why not do it at half time, at least we could have had another sub.
Except Ayew played really well.
That's twice you've said that and both times you were wrong.
Did you watch the game?
Yes I did, thanks for asking Mrs.Ayew.

Why? For making substitutions?
Had he not made them and say Brennan or Taiwo had got injured this place would have been inundated with people saying Cooper should be sacked because he doesn’t use subs.

He said afterwards some of the players were struggling, including Taiwo.

Can't win mate, if Navas tips wide and we win 1-0 the same people be saying Cooper masterclass (which is nearly was IMO)
Right gameplan, nearly perfectly executed. Got to beat Saints now and the find one more somewhere. Argh I was looking forward to Monday for a bit too.

It's not the fact he made the substitutions, it's who he put on, can anyone explain what on earth he see's in Ayew, the man has to be the worst signing this club has made in this campaign, he does fook all, surely it would have been better to have put either Dennis or Surridge on, and it's not a case of not using substitutions because his decision making especially when making substitutions are more than questionable and have been all season, but for the love of god Ayew most people questioned the decision to bring him here in the first place.

Ayew was better than Taiwo, defended well, three times he held off a defender and released an attacker into a good position. Easily his best game for us.
