Huddersfield v Forest pre match comments....
Town’s first Championship away match of the season, was the first game at Brentford’s new stadium, on Saturday, 19 September. The 3-0 reverse was the third loss in the three competitive games we have played thus far. There can be no complaints about the score-line. Indeed, we should have been 2-0 down at the break, rather than going in goalless. Despite 57% possession, the closest we came to scoring was when Jaden Brown's header clipped the post with the score at 1-0. If we aspire to safety the total lack of a goal scoring threat has to be fixed, and rapidly. Either Karlan Grant must be shipped out, promptly, and replaced or he should return to the team.
On Friday, 25 September, K.O. 19:45 we continue our Championship campaign, this time at home to Nottingham Forest. This game will be live on Sky Sports so it will not be purchasable on iFollow but will be available to Season Card holders who have renewed for 2020-21.
We meet the East Midlands outfit frequently, and since 2012, we have played the Tricky Trees at home seven times with a 3-2-2 record in all competitions, wining on our last two home encounters and unbeaten in the last four. We last played them in Huddersfield, on 21 December 2019, when we won 2-1 in the Championship with goals, either side of half-time by Chris Schindler and Steve Mounié. This was a fractious match with confrontations between players and staff at the end of both halves.
Forest finished last season in 7th, missing out on the Play-offs only by goal difference. However, they have also had a poor start to this season, getting eliminated from the Carabao Cup at Barnsley and then at QPR, and at home to Cardiff City last Saturday, losing both league games by a 2-0 score-line. This is not going to be an easy game but I think that we might secure our first point with a draw.
3-0 town. Diakhaby hat trick on the cards.
I can only hope that O’Brien Eiting and Ward start. Play Sarr too and we might have a chance.
Odds on that it will be 0-0 at half time and we lose after a couple of late goals. Imagine the change of mood around here and the club if we can actually win and play well.
If we can't field a striker we might aswell write this game off as well.

Hopefully Eigting can give us some much needed quality and creativity in midfield instead of the misfiring Pritchard, hopefully O'Brien will be back to add some steel too. I still think Forest will win though.
Thankfully they are going just as bad. No wins or goals this year. Last 8, 6 losses 5 of those to nil and three draws. They are struggling to find the back of the net too.
Be more of same I think performance wise just hopefully the start forest have had continues and we can scrape a draw.
Be surprised if eiting is thrown straight in given his injury history think will need time to adjust to training intensity although very aware we need someone who realises you can turn round and go forward in that position.
Would have said the same for sarr also and maybe still the case with chrichlow or Edmonds green getting there nod if Edmonds green be now fully up to speed after injury(think that’s the only reason chrichlow made the bench in front of him)possibly bench for sarr even if Schindler out which been hamstring injury probably will be.
Can’t see ward been fit but can see campbell starting(was said could only manage 45 mins this week)
Be nice if o brien was back but if he is can only see making the bench again due to not been quite ready as don’t think he’s even trained yet.
I believe grant is back training with the squad but can’t see him been involved until the window is shut.
All in all like said at top think be very similar performance wise,a difficult watch and sad as it is be happy with a point.
Forest are yet to win a league game. Guess when they break their duck?

Both teams to cancel each other out, with the drinks breaks being the highlight of the game.

Nil nil is the best we can get. My Uncle pissed himself when I said they'd probably be facing Diakhaby. Striking fear into absolutely f*cking nobody

Forest are in total disarray. An absolute must that we to take advantage of their lack of form and confidence to kick start our season.
I suspect they'll be thinking exactly the same thing - especially when they see Diakhaby starting.

This game is a strange one really, both as bad as each other currently, no points & no goals scored. However, if a football fan could pick any team to play against to end a shocking run, who do you think they'd pick? (Assuming Bradford City were unavailable due to Covid restrictions)

On Saturday my iFollow used Brentford commentary and they never stopped talking about how bad, uninterested and disgraceful he was.
We need to sack him. Just simply sack him

How many championship clubs would play the first 3 games of the season without a recognised striker starting?

See Forest have signed Arter from Bournemouth, bet Hogg is looking forward to meeting him again!
He's probably still better than anyone we currently have available in midfield that we've actually seen play.
Forest also signing defender Scott McKenna from Aberdeen for a rumoured £6m
