I remember after Dave Bassett brought in his £12 million spending spree.

The 1st game of the season.  Or the earliest one I remember.  Vs Norwich.

Forest went at them with energy.  Aggression.  Attack!

Put some rockets and missiles past Norwich.

The difference was back then we had one of the better squads in the division with the spending power to match. We aren’t in that bracket anymore.

I'm glad that we can remember that.  I remember us battering Norwich that day.  It gives you momentum.

Confidence.

Need some real quality in several positions.

Laws makes the point that the end to the season knocked the stuffing out of the team and probably club.  Need to shift that albatross by winning.

Need to bring in some creative talisman or two.
