I don't know if anyone else has read "Family: Life, Death and Football" by Michael Calvin. It's a fly-on-the-wall book where the author was given totally unrestricted access to follow Millwall through their 2009/10 season, and very good it is too. Anyway, Lewis Grabban was at Millwall at the time and the book gives a bit of insight into his character. Obviously he was a lot younger then, but he seems quite a complex character and quite introverted - not necessarily what you expect from a Millwall player. He's also a devout Muslim and was struggling with the demands of Ramadan at one point.
What I'm saying is it's very easy to slag off a player or to claim they're not trying or look unhappy without actually knowing what's going on in the background. Hopefully he's just taking a bit longer to settle in than some of the others and he'll soon start showing us what he's capable of.
