That's my gut but the potential legal challenges behind that could make it very difficult. Also do you reinstate Bury as they in theory started the 2019/20 league season. Do you restart all the European club competitions with this year's teams in? What about TV revenue and rights and sponsorship/advertisements deals or lost revenue from having not played the contracted number of games. Or even player contracts, bonuses etc
There are so many problems with the 'start again' approach it is hard to imagine. Sounds easy but it seems like a nuclear option.
I imagine UEFAs meeting on Tuesday will discuss these options but I do think Euro 2020 is almost certain to be shelved for a year and that could buy some time in the summer to finish the season. That is my best bet. But if this virus goes beyond June then that time has gone. Then what?
The other alternative is they play behind closed doors but not sure too many are keen on that idea either.
