The pure passion is something money can't buy but i think like Alf suggested, having Stuart Pearce involved maybe in recruitment would be a good thing, i really think we should embrace our heritage while we can because legends are very few and far between the last 20 years.

Folk say "you get some players right, others you don't". Well let's put it into rough figures.
The current recruitment team has signed around 20 players. We all have our own opinions of them, but out of those 20 who's fetching interest from other clubs? Who's gonna net us 5-15m?
None of them. It's OK saying "you get some players right, others you don't" but what you DO need to do is make sure the ones which you do get right cover the costs of the ones you don't to a large degree.
Pearce may have signed some duds, but did any of them make even a dent in the 15m profit we made from Antonio & Britt? No. If you took Pearce's signings overall we invested, got a shed load of goals for that investment, and then coined it in at a big profit. The man's got contacts all over, who work with some of the hottest British talent each day.
Compare that to the 20 signings this past year, where we'll be lucky to break even.
Add the feel good factor Psycho brings with him, and to me it's an absolute no brainer. Add him to the team.
