One thing that we clearly do well is sell players at a profit, it would not surprise me if Bong moved in the summer for somewhere between £500k and £1m.

That tied in with our ability to grow high value players from the academy: Brereton, Appiah, Osborn, Burke to name but a few, is clearly part of our current identity.

Agree with it or not it is what it is for us to be somewhere near sustainable in the absence of parachute payments or PL money.

Not sure we will be able to get that much for Bong at all, Brighton have been trying to offload him for ages.

But i do agree, we have sold off our younger players well making profit, and of course players coming on a free from Oly have helped, when we sell them on. 

Struggled to sell some of the deadwood though.
