I’ve decided to take a more laissez faire approach to the season.
Despite my all consuming approach to anything Forest I’m going to keep telling myself how enjoyable Sabri Lamouchi’s second Championship season could be.
How many points would we inevitably garner.
How much better would I feel on a Sunday morning looking at the league table.
How much more satisfying would it be to gain automatic promotion - perhaps as champions.
Don’t get me wrong - I am as desperate as anyone for success.
But I need ( we need ) to be patient ( a word that is not in the vocabulary of a football fan ).
Let’s go for it - but let’s accept that failure ultimately would not be the end. It could be followed by glorious success!
