i was in first class (of course) on the train up and there was a couple of luton fans, i just watched them ... and listened ... 1 of them goes everywhere following Luton, maybe it's just a 'grounds and ambience' type excursion, they didn't seem to resigned to defeat or over confident, the conversation was measured but constant, took best part of an hour until i heard Nathan Jones mentioned, the guy new the next 10 fixtures he was going to without referring to any external references, i generally don't understand 'football fans' the pain and futility of all the effort seems to far outweigh the pleasure ... even following an average team .. but losing 10 on the bounce wow. The sun was shining, beautiful journey and the CG has to be the best away day surely .. but did they enjoy it ... i doubt it. I guess going a goal up and then into decline ramps up the abuse from the adjacent Forest fans so any early pleasure must surely be totally destroyed.
