Not sure how people who were not at the Club at the time can be blamed for signing Bonatini; if you look at the agency he is with you can take a good guess who had his finger prints all over that loan
As for priority areas; there was quite a few of those at the beginning of the season; less so now.
Besides that, knowing what players you want and getting them are two totally different things; expecting a relatively new recruitment and scouting team to sign every single target in one window is a tad naive; expecting every single signing to turn out good more so.
When you consider the close season upheaval, the boys in charge of recruitment have done a great job; we look much stronger in some areas, paper thin in others, with hopefully more to come.
Walker can score all the goals he likes at a lower level, he has not displayed the remotest signs that he can do it at Championship level.
Sending him out was absolutely the right thing to do; get rid while he still has a value.
If we bring him back, then to me it suggests there is no money to spend
