And the midfield had no fight or bite. Even Ameobi ambled off the goal line and half heartedly jumped for a goal line clearance which he missed.
Cash ballooned his cross into the skies.
It was a shambles. And it's not the 1st time Forest have been sent out ill prepared for a 1st half of football.
Dawson and The Coach's 'picture' on the interview links on the website before the Wednesday match. They both looked flat as pancakes. Often, a picture paused from a video can be telling.
I'm wondering if there was a big bust up about the last minute capitulations in the last two games. But in truth, Forest have won once in 6 games. Their charmed existence early in the season was built on the platform of the human bulldozer Sow.
Without him, they've swirled down to a mid-table team. Which doesn't seem 'that different' to last season's over achievers.
