I think Cardiff's physicality presents a tough dilemma in the middle. Do we go with Semedo & hope he & Silva can out battle them? Or is it worth grabbing the opportunity to try and push Carvalho on, as he looked to be really coming back to his best the other night.
Can see pros & cons for both, my thing is that Semedo's not actually good defensively. He's physical, he's got good drive, but we look vulnerable with him on the pitch because of his positioning.
So if his inclusion also means an inclusion of vulnerability into the side, and thus the side carrying vulnerability today with either option, surely you'd go for the player who has the extra creative spark & has found his zip in Carva?
Not an easy choice IMO. In Mouch I trust though.
