There is a lot of love for Carvalho, especially at home. If we go a goal down and he's on the bench (some of) the crowd start singing his name.
Don't forget that MoN also didn't play him that much and preferred a more physical player, but he did suit Karanka's system.
Just need to keep him ready for the Prem next year! ;-)
