Based on what I’ve seen so far, WBA Leeds and Fulham are all slightly ahead of us in terms of performance. However they’ve all got weaknesses and susceptibility to dropping points. Plus the depth of quality in the league makes almost every game a challenge.
Therefore it’s just about points on the board, if you keep scraping wins players grow in confidence. You would never have had Norwich or sheff U promoted at this point last year.
Not saying this means we’ll go up but right now we’re definitely in it. I’d say we can afford to drop points less than those three above though so the next block of games after the break will be massive given they’re all bottom half teams
