Could do an awful lot worse - in the circumstances & having seen how disappointing Mir was again last night - than to retain Murphy in the first team squad.

I think Mir desperately needs a goal. I got to the game quite early the other night and watched the strikers doing some target practice. Mir launched all his shots in upper Trent. Not writing the fella off but if it's one position that we've buggered up on. Wouldn't be suprised if the french striker we were in for comes in in Jan.
