Whilst I am all for opinions and debate, surely the facts suggest Joe wins his headers on the whole. To say he is poor in the air is not an opinion it is just plain wrong. Fine he is not the quickest on the turn (what centre back is?) and his distribution is up for debate. But to say he is poor in the air.... jeez, Des Walker would be murdered by jacksbadhobbits as he reckoned himself he won around 50% of headers, never once scored a header for the team and couldnt pass wind. He was still the best centre back to ever wear the garibaldi bar none.
Of course He is going to make mistakes, what player doesn't? But so far this season he has been very very good. Bamford may not be a unit, but he is strong on the ball and always has been. We should know, we developed him.
