Just my opinion but I think we place too much emphasis on a main striker.

For mee it's more about the front 3 as a whole and with the signings of Adomah, Ameobi and Mir to go alongside Lolley and Grabban who were already here I believe that we are stronger up top this season. Not forgetting Appiah who is not too far away now.

I disagree mate, if grabban gets injured which is very likely who have we got to lead the line as well?. If Ameobi is our back up I can see another mid table finish. Every team promoted has a 20 goal a season striker.

I can understand where both of you are coming from. I suppose a front 3 (which is the system we have been using) does put an emphasis on all three to score goals.

Mir may turn out to be a very good signing, if Grabban picks up an injury I won't panic too much. I would also add that in the last third of last season Grabban looked poor and on that form he wouldn't be missed greatly in my book.

Having said that it would be great if Grabban shows his early form of last season when he was scoring for fun and he manages to stay fit for the whole season (big ask).
