Better balanced, but weaker overall.

Colback is a big miss, and the frontline was weak to begin with. Losing Ansarifard & Walker has only weakened it further. Darikwa's injury doesn't help either.

See where we are in a week. I very much doubt we've let some of these players go without being confident of signings coming in to replace them.

You forgot to mention that we have signed Mir and Ameobi to replace Ansarifard and Walker. I would say that strengthens how strike force not weakens it.

I would imagine in terms of actual goals output that is a close call (albeit Walkers goals last season were at L2 level). Some statto could probably tell us.
