It's a huge call that someone is going to have to make.
He has still got three years remaining on a very well paid contract; that will be the big stumbling block if we try an ship him out.
If he was on 25k per week, and I would assume he is on more than that, he will be due the best part of 4m in wages not to mention his signing on fee which is spread over the length of his contract.
I cannot see him being of any interest to a PL club.
Maybe one of the clubs coming down will be able to afford him; after that you are left with two or three clubs in the league who can afford him.
Its not the fee we will want that prevents a deal being done, its the wages he will demand.
There's always the Olympiacos option, I suppose.
