I really can’t see us spending anything like we did last season. For two main reasons one the large injection was required to bump up the squad to a mid-table level as we were at a low starting point of quality compared to others in the league. We now have a base to which to build on so not required. Second and a big factor here is MON seems more likely to look for best value at reduced risk over the spend big and hope it pays off.
If I was to guess, I think at best we will spend approx. 7-8 million excluding player sales this season. Which is still high for the championship I will add.
